• This raffle is being conducted under the raffle permit no: 10485/21.
• The permit holder is Paul Myers, of Great Barrier Reef Legacy (ABN 53165207517).
• All proceeds will go directly to Great Barrier Reef Legacy and their work to conserve the Great Barrier Reef.
• This raffle is only open to residents of QLD, NSW, VIC, TAS and NT (proof of address will be required, in order to claim prizes).
• This raffle is only open to adults of at least 18 years of age (proof of age will be required, in order to claim prizes).
• GBR Legacy reserves the right to request proof of identity, residency and age, in order to claim the prize. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize, resulting in a redraw.
• Employees and immediate families of GBR Legacy are excluded from entrance into the draw.
• The overall maximum number of tickets to be sold is 35,000. Prices and bundle limits are detailed, below:
• $10 for 10 Entries. Max 3,500 available
• $25 for 30 Entries. Max 1,166 available
• $40 for 50 Entries. Max 700 available
• $75 for 100 Entries. Max 350 available
• Participants may purchase as many tickets as they wish.
• Raffle tickets are available for purchase between 00:00 on the 13th October 2021, and 23:59 on the 13th December 2021.
• To enter the draw head to https://reeflegacy.org/reef-positive complete the submission form and finalise payment for your desired ticket bundle.
• There is one prize on offer. The Ultimate Tropical Holiday Package for Two (see list of inclusions, above, for full details).
• The winner will be announced, via electronic draw, live on Facebook & Instagram, on the 15th December 2021 at 18:30.
• This lucky winner will also be contacted directly, via email, or phone.
• The results will be published on our Facebook and Instagram pages, on the 16th December 2021. Remember to like and follow us, if you haven’t already.
• The winner must be able to travel at any time, before 3rd August 2022, excluding the black out dates listed below.
• Prize may NOT be redeemed between: 20th December 2021–10th January 2022, 2nd April 2022–30th April 2022, 25th June 2022-24th July 2022.
• Prizes will be delivered to the winner within 28 days of the draw.
• The prize winner may be redrawn if we are unable to locate a winner.
• GBR Legacy will provide vouchers for all activities, along with a suggested itinerary, however to allow for flexibility and customisation, GBR Legacy will not make any bookings. It remains the responsibility of the winner to book and confirm their own travel arrangements, to fit their own schedule.
• All bookings are subject to availability and made with respect to the terms and conditions of each individual company. We suggest booking early to avoid disappointment.
• Vouchers are not to be on-sold, transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
• In the event of any disputes with regards to the manner in which this raffle has been conducted, you may contact us directly at info@gbrlegacy.org. GBR Legacy’s decision is final.
• GBR Legacy reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this competition if an event beyond their control corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition. GBR Legacy will disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process or any other aspect of this competition.
• GBR Legacy assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
• If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including (without limitation) due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any causes beyond the control of GBR Legacy, GBR Legacy reserves the right in its sole discretion to take any action that may be available, and (without limitation) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any direction given under State Regulation.
• In consideration for GBR Legacy awarding the prize to a winner, the winner hereby permits the winner’s submission, image and/or voice, as recorded, photographed or filmed during the winner’s participation in the prize to appear in connection with GBR Legacy publications, or the advertising or marketing thereof, in any media whatsoever throughout the world and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
• In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders GBR Legacy’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, GBR Legacy may, in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to any directions given under State Regulation.
• GBR Legacy does not exclude any rights and remedies in respect of goods or services under the Australian Consumer Law in the Competition and Consumer Act (2010) (Australian Consumer Law) which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. However, GBR Legacy shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any Prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. GBR Legacy is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by entrant or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
